A letter to let you know of the few remaining provisions of the Welfare of Farmed Animals (England) Regulations 2007 (WOFAR), which since 2003 have applied to newly built or re-built premises, but which from 1 January 2013 will apply to all pig holdings. These provisions are applicable regardless of whether farms are assured or not.
